Home sales recorded through the MLS® System of the Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association Inc. a year-over-year gain in February 2015.
Residential sales numbered 57 units in January 2015, up 5.6 per cent from January 2014. That said, it was about 10 sales below average for the month of February.
New residential listings on the Association’s MLS® System totalled 145 units in January 2015, down 1.4 per cent on a year-over-year basis.
There were 416 active residential listings on the Association’s MLS® System at the end of January 2015, down three per cent from January 2014.
There were 7.3 months of inventory at the end of January 2015, down from 7.9 months reported at the same time last year and below the long-run average for this time of the year. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
